Cross-Border Travel & Fuel Policy
Clients wishing to travel outside Zambia must obtain prior approval from Richbel Car Hire & Tours to allow sufficient time for the preparation of border documentation and insurance. All border clearance and cross-border insurance costs are the responsibility of the client. Vehicles are issued with a full tank of fuel and must be returned with a full tank. Failure to do so may result in a refuelling charge based on the prevailing pump price.

Vehicle Care & Driver Requirements
Clients are responsible for maintaining the vehicle in a clean condition throughout the rental period and, for long-term rentals, should regularly check basic fluid levels and tyre pressure. Pets are not permitted in our vehicles. Drivers must be at least 21 years of age and hold a valid driver's licence with a minimum of two years' driving experience.    

Prohibited Use & Safety
To ensure the safety of our clients and the protection of our vehicles, the use of Richbel vehicles for towing, racing, off-loading, overloading, taxi services, or driving under the influence of alcohol or drugs is strictly prohibited. Clients must not tamper with or remove any part of the vehicle, including identification tags or logos, and all drivers are expected to operate the vehicle responsibly and in accordance with all traffic laws.

Payments & Rental ChargesAll rental charges, payment procedures, bank account details, and any applicable fees, including the optional Collision Damage Waiver (CDW), will be communicated during the booking process, either in person or over the phone. Our team will ensure you understand all costs and payment requirements before your booking is confirmed and the vehicle is handed over.
